Fantastic location, room was spotless and balcony overlooking the marina was a bonus.
The hotel was excellent and we would go back in a heartbeat.
I guess the lack of breakfast options. However great baker just around the corner.

The location by the lake is gorgeous. located right on the water in this gorgeous médiéval Town, The room are very spacious
The access to the hotel by car is impossible, the room has a lake view through a very small window, the Bathroom equipment were not in good condition

Ok unless you need parking
Lovely hotel, although a bit tired in places and let down by the parking situation.
The parking was a nightmare. The hotel has a parking garage around 10 mins walk up the hill from the hotel charged at €10 per night. The entry keypad is faulty which clearly the staff are well aware of. Three times we were stuck outside the garage (for around 20 minutes) with the staff unwilling to come and assist, simply suggesting we used a different finger or pressed harder on the keypad to get the door to open. When staff did eventually come to help, despite protestations that humidity affected the keypad, they were also unable to get the garage to open and had to use the separate door and internal mechanism. Several (international cost) calls to reception were dealt with with contempt (one hang up), a general poor attitude and we came away wishing we had made a different hotel choice.

great waterside break
Lake view from my room, very spacious and quiet. Plenty of things to do and friendly staff. Clean room. Dressing gown and slippers provided.
Carpets looked tired in reception. I felt sad at the huge waste of water in the enormous bath. There was no way to have a shower. In the old village of Yvoire the water pumps are all turned off to conserve water so it seemed like a crime to let all the water in the bath go to waste. Please replace the bathtub with a shower. The heavy bathrobe could maybe just supplied in winter.
